"Barely Respectable, if not Offensive" Award
The award, named after the FlyWithTizi motto (a reference to a highly classified story), is presented to those involved in highly random, hilarious moments while flying with me. The awardees are provided with a limited edition FlyWithTizi patch.

During training at KHXD, the control tower, fire department, FBO, and two other pilots rated Megan's landing as 5/5 stars! She even got a tour of the tower and a strip to seal the memory!

Bird ingestion at KCHS. Drew found the bird remnants deep in the engine when inspecting oil and noticing feathers fly out of the cowl door. When asking for a bag and gloves at the FBO, the front desk replied with "We don't take the birds out".

After 17 training landings, the right tire exploded while taxiing back to park. The day before the left one exploded leaving parking. Airport Ops and school MX arrived to tow the plane back to the hangar in preparation of the inbound hurricane.

"If you want the real deal... fly with Tizi" was what my friend Josh told an RTP student for IFR training. I took Jim up for an IFR checkride prep flight, and we ended up shooting an approach to minimums, using the ALS to land...

I got locked out of an airplane. With support from Cirrus, Signature, and my amazing friends at Gulfstream, we were able to hot-wire the airplane and open up the locks. This was all happening while SCAD students were doing a fashion photoshoot with the same airplane.

On takeoff, we noticed the fuel cap was missing on the right wing. We landed. Ground sweep didn't find it. But a United C-Series found it right on centerline. Let's just say we delayed a few United flights... and controllers had some fun with us...

Returning from a cross country to Savannah in night IMC, JAX Center advised us of a Cessna 182 at our 1'o'clock. We only had traffic at our 11, which we reported. We were then transferred to Savannah and noticed how we were overtaking this C182. Being on a PA28-180, we found it curious we were faster than them. After close inspection, we realized we were actually observing a lighted tower, and not traffic... I asked the controller to please not tell my other friends...
